As I mentioned last week, I've recently been contributing to one of my favorite websites, German Cars For Sale Blog and will occasionally be sharing posts from the site here on Oppo when appropriate. This is one of those time and I'm happy to share a post by our fearless leader Paul Henriques. Paul found a clean example of a car that I had actually forgotten existed, an F10 5 Series with 3 pedals. It's not just any 5 Series either, this is the 550i which means 4.4 litres of turbocharged goodness and 8 cylinders.
Click through to read Paul's writeup and don't be surprised if you find yourself wondering if one of these would be well suited to your needs. He says "the color combination is not offensive, but it does have shades of the 1990's" and for me, that's exactly what makes it desirable. As was the case with the E39 540i/6, this is the responsible man's M5. It's the car your significant other will approve of and isn't a settle at all, especially with a tune and exhaust.

I don't think the link works, but that's definitely one awesome car. I'm just wondering if they are more reliable than the E60 V8 cars.

I havent had many issues w/ my 06 (120k mi) - the occasional vacuum leak has been about it
